I'm a published writer completing a collection of personal essays (65,000 words, 8-10 essays) under contract with my literary agent. The manuscript explores my search as a queer Iranian American for home. The book ends unresolved; I've not found a physical home, but I've learned that language (Persian, English, linguistics, literature) and imagination (about myself and the world) have served as life rafts through treacherous times.

The manuscript is due end of summer 2025, and I'm seeking a detail-oriented student or recent graduate to help bring this deeply personal yet universally resonant work across the finish line.
