I’m looking for a room or apartment starting mid-September (ideally the 15th, but I’m flexible). I recently started a postdoc in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford, and my boyfriend will be joining me for a while as he works on refitting his sailboat along the West Coast.
We're open to either a private apartment or a room in a shared flat. We’ve both lived with housemates before and are very easygoing and respectful.
A bit about us: I’m 28, originally from Italy, and completed my studies in Switzerland. My boyfriend is 34, Swiss-British, and also an engineer. We speak English, German, and Italian. We're both outdoorsy, enjoy cooking and sharing meals, and keep our space clean and tidy. We value a home where people can enjoy good conversation but also relax and have their own space.
If you have a place available or know someone who does, we’d love to hear from you! I am already in Stanford so happy to grab a coffee or so :)
