I’m looking for a new female roommate to share this lovely condo/apartment for $1850/mo, lease for ~1 year starting between August - September.
THE PLACE
~1200 square feet, downstairs living area/kitchen and 2 upstairs bedrooms, each room has a sliding door and outdoor balcony. Both bedrooms have separate bathrooms, and there’s a half bath downstairs.
-15 min south of Stanford in a quiet area despite being basically off El Camino Real. Walking distance to Grocery Outlet and Walgreens, quick drive to Trader Joe’s, Safeway, and Target, and a bit further drive to 99 Ranch/Nijiya.
-Located in a gated community with an underground garage. We’d both have designated parking spots included in the lease.
-In-unit washer/dryer, full kitchen appliances
-No AC/heating, but we do have space heaters that work well.
-Downstairs is mostly furnished (by me). Your room is unfurnished.
-Utilities include wifi, electricity, and sewage. Landlord pays HOA and water.
ME
I’ve been a lab manager/research technician at Stanford for the past 5 years and moved into the place in 2024. I’m 28, female, Bay Area native, half Japanese American/Chinese American, but 4th generation so I don’t speak either language. I’m quiet, clean, and respectful. Introverted, but happy to talk in the common areas. Ok with visitors as long as I get a head’s up. My hobbies include crafting, hiking, reading, anything but thinking about work!
YOU
Female, respectful of shared spaces, considerate of others, and clean. Doesn’t smoke, preferably no pets. Willing to commit to ~1 year lease (timing is negotiable, but do not contact for short term lease).
