***Rare Monterey Style vintage California dining set***
This set consists a of hand-painted table and 4 chairs and was built around 1930 by the Angeles Furniture Company in Southern California. The line is Coronado and the piece is marked. The furniture style and Coronado pieces particularly are highly sought after by early California design enthusiasts.
A California historian mentioned we should be selling this for $2000+ however, we are moving asap and can’t take it with us. We would love this piece of California design history to go to a good home where it will be appreciated. The set includes a 42” table, 4 hand painted chairs: 3 without arms and 1 "captains chair" that has arms.
Hand painted wood grain and floral accents on every piece. It has served us very well the three years we have had it. It is in the typical condition one would expect of something this vintage, normal wear and tear. They don't build 'em and paint 'em like they used to! This fit so well in our little breakfast nook in our 100 year old Spanish Revival rental cottage. It's a beauty and it could be yours!
Perfect in a California bungalow, cottage kitchen or a Carmel style home. Use as a kitchen table. Perfect for anyone who wants a special dining room set for a small space.
Cash or Venmo only. Must be picked up from our place in Downtown Palo Alto by Monday.
