Telluscope is an AI-powered environmental risk platform addressing land, water, and air pollution intensified by extreme weather events. We use machine learning and environmental data integration to automate risk analysis and accelerate underwriting for pollution liability insurance—helping insurers, property owners, and communities act faster to reduce contamination and strengthen climate resilience.

Born out of Stanford’s Ecopreneurship Program, Telluscope is now building its MVP. We’re seeking a part-time technical collaborator to help develop the demo. You’ll build and refine backend services and APIs (Python/FastAPI, Supabase/Postgres); support OCR/NLP pipelines for document analysis; contribute to data visualizations for pilot partners; and help aggregate and structure environmental datasets for model training and risk insights.

A great fit for someone passionate about the intersection of ML and climate resilience. Looking for a commitment of about 5-10 hours per week. Reach out to Kathryn Bacher (MBA/E-IPER) at kbacher@stanford.edu to learn more about the opportunity.
