We are looking to fill one bedroom in our spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house in the heart of Menlo Park. This stunning 1,970 sq. ft. home sits on an impressive 8,000 sq. ft. lot in a prime location with easy access to everything you need. We’re walking distance to a local grocery store, restaurants, a yoga studio, and other amenities, with convenient access right next to Highway 101. The location offers an easy 18-minute commute to Stanford University and just 8 minutes to the Menlo Park Caltrain station.
One housemate is moving out, and we’re looking for a replacement who can foster a sense of community and contribute to our friendly household environment.
Preference will be given to those who can fulfill a year long lease starting December 19th.

• One friendly dog allowed (our beloved Mona)

• Unfurnished but can come furnished (current roommate is willing to sell the furniture he has)
• Beautiful corner view of the backyard
• $1,700/month
Utilities average $100-150/month depending on the season, which includes internet, gas, electric, water, and garbage. These are always divided evenly.
ABOUT US
3 housemates in our 20s:
H - 24-year-old female engineer at SLAC. Enjoys rock climbing, skiing, working out, watching movies, playing lacrosse, and reading. Quiet but friendly and open to forming friendships with housemates.
K - 27-year-old female engineer at SLAC. Loves the outdoors (hiking, rock climbing, etc.) but also appreciates indoor time. Values a sense of community in shared living spaces and strives to be eco-friendly.
M - 22 year old male engineer at 1X. Thrives in chaos but loves when life is still. Commonly escapes to the mountains to ski and (often to bike) to reset his brain from the stresses of life.
The house maintains a friendly, respectful atmosphere where we can cook together, watch TV, or go out as a group. We occasionally host dinners and gatherings with friends.
We value honesty, communication, and fostering a sense of community while respecting each other’s space and independence.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a laid back, clean, responsible housemate who will contribute to keeping our home enjoyable and maintaining our community atmosphere. Someone who’s interested in being friends, whether that’s watching TV together, cooking together, or exploring the bay area's offerings. Important: unfortunately, we cannot accept any additional pets (only Mona is allowed).
Bonus: We love outdoor activities, especially skiing! If you’re interested in joining us on the slopes this winter, that’s a huge plus.
