I am looking for a new roommate starting March 2026 for our 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment in West Menlo Park.
What is the apartment like?
- The apartment is located in Menlo Park, very close to Safeways, Trader Joe's, and the downtown area. You can reach Stanford campus within less than 10 minutes by bike.
- The bedroom offered (172 sq ft, app 16 sq m) has a big build-in wardrobe, with a shelf above the hanging area. The room is fully furnished with a bed, desk and office chair, bedside table, shelf and guest sofa. Price for taking over the furniture from the current tenant is negotiable.
- A spacious living room with access to our private patio.
- A bathroom that you share with me.
- A kitchen that you share with me. We have a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, water kettle, toaster, espresso machine, pots, plates etc. You wouldn't need to bring anything.
- There is also a shared garden with a grass field adjacent to our patio space.
- Washing machines and dryers are available onsite (coin-operated).
- No smoking, no drugs.
- Rent is $1500/ month + utilities (gas, electricity, internet), which are around $50-100 /month.
Who am I?
I am a female postdoc working at Stanford. In my free time, I like to hike, bike, play guitar and read. I am an early bird during the week and quite busy, but also like to catch up or hang out with a housemate.
