The room would be available on January 1st, technically also from december 28th
The distance to stanford depends a little bit on where you work specifically - for most places it should be around 20-25 minutes by bike.
Right now there are 4 other roommates apart from me (2 male, 2 female)
We have 1 Postdoc at Stanford (late 20s, m), 1 working in MedTech (late 20s, m), 1 Nanny (late 20s, f) 1 Working on events/ Trips with students (late 30s, f)
The room comes furnished with a desk, a bed, nightstand, lights, rack for clothes. Nothing super fancy, but definetly does the job.
The costs: rent will be $1440 in January, Utilities are usually around $100, Wifi is $30 and we have a cleaner coming in once a month for $36 each.
There will also be a fee of $240 for the furniture. Every time the next person moves in, we reduce the costs for the furniture, so that it hopefully will be free one day.
Having guests over for some time is fine.
