We’re seeking a tutor to lead small, distraction-free focus sessions for community college students.
$40-$60/hr
What you’ll do
• Facilitate in-person daily one hour structured study sessions with 2-3 students
• Guide students in setting achievable goals at the start and reflecting on progress at the end
• Create a supportive and non-judgmental environment
• Support focus, routine-building, and peer accountability
• Provide some feedback in improving written assignments
Who you are
• Background in psychology, sociology, education, cognitive science, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Comfortable supporting students with attention challenges, especially with digital distraction
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or facilitation is a plus
