Hi everyone,
For those unaware, this week is the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference ("JPM") in SF. It’s essentially the Super Bowl of the biotech and healthcare investment world, where thousands of investors, startups, and pharma execs descend on the city to make deals.
While the main conference is closed-door, the real activity happens in the "side shows” the hundreds of coffee meetings, mixers, and receptions happening around Union Square.
Although I am not in SF personally this week, I have a small group of colleagues (MedTech investors and investor relations operators) who are on the ground attending these satellite events. I am looking to connect a motivated student or recent alum with them to "shadow" the group for a portion of the week.
Why you might care:
If you are curious about Venture Capital, Biotech, or Startups, this is a unique chance to see how the industry actually operates. You would effectively be a "fly on the wall" to observe how networking and investor relations work during the busiest week of the year.
The Logistics:
• I will facilitate the introduction; you will meet up with the group locally.
• This is informal, you'll be tagging along to industry mixers and networking events.
• Flexible timing this week (Jan 12–15).
Transport there and back will be paid for.
To Apply:
Since I am connecting you directly with my professional network, I need to vouch for you. Please DM me a brief line about your interest and include a link to your LinkedIn profile.
