Hi! I am subletting my primary/master bedroom + private bathroom in our 3bed/2bath apartment for the winter, with some flexibility. The Avalon apartment is located within walking distance from downtown Mountain View and the Caltrain station and is generally an excellent place to live at a surprisingly great rent-controlled(!) rate. Because of the preferences of one of the existing roomies, we're primarily seeking a female-identifying person to fill this space.
Dates can start as early as February 1st and potentially carry into March and possibly more. I'm very flexible, so if you need longer just let me know!
Costs:
* Base Rent + internet: 1450/month for the room
* Utilities: ~$95/month/person (~$284 across 3 people w/ some discounts — that said, we're in the middle of a utility billing transition, so it may be up to ~$110/person)
About the room:
The room is 10'x13' +private hallway and private full bathroom and comes *very* furnished with a Full-sized mattress, sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, desks, monitors, chairs, lights, fairy light decorations, etc. I'll be clearing most of my things and putting them under the bed and in the walk-in closet, so you won't have access to that. Additionally there will be a few things left out, like some of the contents of the bookshelf, organizer, etc.
You'll be sharing the rest of the apartment with two other women, one of which is recent grad working remotely who enjoys singing and watching shows and movies. Despite those interests, she's very quiet! The other apartment-mate is an undergrad at CalTech interning in the area and is very friendly.

About YOU:
Nice, friendly, respectful, communicative, non-smoking/drugs, clean in shared spaces, and reasonably volume-d (complex's quiet hours are from 10pm-8am, but we try not to disturb neighbors, etc.), not a big party host (occasional small tasteful evening affairs are fine). Able to take care of the space and not damage things, but take responsibility if something does happen.
And for everyone's health, if you get sick, we would like you to be okay with wearing a mask in the common areas.

* Amazon locker for all your packages to keep them safe (though I've never seen a package stolen even when the lockers are full)

* Really pretty lush grounds
* Well-reviewed by tenants
* Easy & free parking
* Close proximity to: downtown Mountain View (food, events, an absurd amount of boba, & Caltrain), Google campus, San Antonio shopping center (groceries [Safeway/Trader Joes/Walmart/Target], theater), several parks (and a skate park)
* Safe area
* Free Mountain View shuttle
* Nice pool & fountain
* Patio & barbecue area
* Community events and contests
* Dog park + lots of dog friends in the complex (and a neighborhood cat that are pretty dope)
* Community pool/bbq parties + pet days
* About a 15 minute drive to Stanford
