I’ll be teaching and working abroad from February until May and am looking for a responsible SFSU student or faculty member to rent my Daly City home during that period.

A cozy, comfortable 4BR / 2BA single-family home, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms available for your use.
You’ll also have:

A quiet yoga/meditation room
Easy street parking
A small backyard
A TV you can cast to (no cable)
Bright, clean common spaces with a relaxed, lived-in feel
The home is simple—not fancy—but very welcoming and great for focusing on school, teaching, or creative work.
Marley the Ocicat
You’ll be sharing the home with Marley, my affectionate, highly entertaining Ocicat. Cat care is straightforward:
Daily feeding & fresh water
Litter box upkeep
OK to leave her alone for up to 48 hours
No other pets, please
Past renters wanted to keep her—she’s that wonderful.
Location & Commute
The house is in Westlake, one of the safest and most convenient neighborhoods near SFSU.
7–10 minutes to SFSU by car
15–20 minutes by bus (depending on line)
3 blocks to Thornton State Beach + trails
2 blocks to Westlake Shopping Center (Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Target, cafés, UPS, etc.)
Easy access to I-280 (SF, Daly City BART, SFSU, South Bay)
Great for students or faculty looking for quiet study space with immediate access to nature and groceries.
Rent & Terms
$1350/month (utilities included) per room
First month, last month, + half-month security deposit
Available NOW through May
Absolutely no smoking or recreational drug use
Low/no alcohol preferred
Overnight guests OK with prior check-in (for safety/household management)
Small dinner/game nights fine; no large gatherings or parties
No shoes on rugs (no-shoes-in-house preferred)
Weekly 2–3 minute “all’s well” check-in + bringing in mail
