Hi! I’m Max, 29, originally from Germany, and currently a PhD candidate at Stanford finishing up my dissertation. I’ll be living in the home during this period and helping coordinate everything on-site while Ted the homeowner is teaching abroad. I care a lot about maintaining a calm, respectful household and clear communication. I’m hoping to find someone thoughtful and reliable who enjoys a peaceful living environment and will treat the space (and Marley!) with care.

7–10 minutes to SFSU by car
15–20 minutes by bus (depending on line)
3 blocks to Thornton State Beach + trails
2 blocks to Westlake Shopping Center (Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Target, cafés, UPS, etc.)
Easy access to I-280 (SF, Daly City BART, SFSU, South Bay)
Great for students or faculty looking for quiet study space with immediate access to nature and groceries.
