We are seeking a third housemate (female-identifying) to take over the lease from a former roommate for a 3BR/2BA apartment in Palo Alto, CA 94306.
We are in a quiet, safe, and convenient location next to the California Avenue downtown, 10 min walk from the Cal Ave Caltrain station, 10-15 min bike ride from the Stanford University main campus, with easy access to El Camino Real and the 101/280 freeways.
Our apartment is located on the 1st floor and has a small backyard, with ample natural lighting in the shared spaces. The apartment was completely remodeled in 2021 with new appliances, windows, doors, electrical, plumbing, and finishes. The apartment includes a dishwasher. Laundry is coin-operated and is in a room shared with ~4 other apartments. We have a full kitchen (stove, fume hood, microwave, refrigerator). All public spaces are furnished.
You would be renting a bedroom (140 sq. ft.) with your own closet and share a bathroom with 1 person. Your rent would be $1,269.50, not including utilities/insurance. You will also take over the security deposit from the previous tenant.
You will also have the option to purchase some furniture from the roommate who will be leaving: $175 for both
* Full-sized mattress (Costco Novaform 10" SoFresh Responsive Foam Mattress, Full). Excellent condition, used for ~3 years ($100 by itself)
* Full-sized bed frame (Costco Blackstone Upholstered Square Stitched Platform Bed, Gray). Excellent condition, used for ~3 years ($125 by itself)
We would like a roommate who is friendly, clean, and quiet (no parties, no smoking). Graduate students and working professionals preferred. No pets please.
The lease would start around end of March/early April 2026. Our current contract ends June 30, 2026 but you would have the option to renew for another year.
