My roommate is returning to Europe at the end of February, and I’m looking for someone to take over her lease. The lease runs for 6 more months, with the possibility to renew (sorry, not looking for short stays). The apartment is fully furnished, and we’re also looking for someone to purchase her bedroom furniture. I’m looking for a clean, respectful professional or postdoc. Social, but considerate of quiet hours and shared spaces.
The apartment is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit, located 6-minute walk from California Avenue Caltrain Station; 12-15 minutes by bike to Stanford; 10 minutes by bike to downtown Palo Alto and 10 min walk to California avenue downtown and Sunday's farmers market.
The rent is $3,400 total ($1,700 per person) + utilities (gas/electricity/wifi).
You’ll be sharing the apartment with a Stanford Medicine postdoc, originally from Italy (M, 31). Clean and respectful, enjoys cooking, and usually work and work out at Stanford during the week, then relax, chill, and hang out on the weekends.
