I am a Stanford Postdoc (Male) and I am looking for a roommate to extend my lease in a 2 bedroom/one bath apartment. I have lived there almost a year, and it is a super-convenient location in downtown Menlo Park, hence my desire to extend my lease.
It is about 4 mins WALK from Trader Joes’ and about 6 mins WALK from Safeway, and 12 mins WALK from Menlo Park Caltrain Station. And only about 10 mins BIKE RIDE from Stanford Campus.
Except for the induction stoves, fridge, and oven, the apartment is unfurnished. So, you will have to furnish your room. I have attached a picture of one of the two bedrooms to give you an idea of how spacious it is. For context, that is a King’s size bedframe!
The room monthly RENT is $1575. The UTILITIES cost divided equally between the two of us will come down to an average of about $200 in a month. I am looking at signing a new ONE-YEAR lease that starts MARCH 9th, but if you need to move in earlier, let me know. There is an extra bed that can fit into the living room for you to stay temporarily.
