From rip-snortin swampy dirt music to a blistering twang-fest, the Bottom Dwellers deliver REAL classic country, hill billy swing, and truck driving classics with the vigor of 10,000 Jerry Reeds.

Specializing in the Bakersfield sound of the great, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and Red Simpson, the Bottom Dwellers bring diversity to California's Americana by pushing boundaries, and poking all the parts of the country music genera with a musical stick. Most of us miss the country music our parents and grandparents raised us on. And indeed, a few hours with the Bottom Dwellers is very reminiscent of the long drives out to the old fishin' hole in grandpa's F100, with the piss bucket between your feet and Dave Dudley cracklin' in and out of the AM radio.

Several years ago Mark, Chris and Tim were sitting around a campfire singing old murder ballads in a ghost town in Nevada. They soon found some other guys dressed like undertakers who could play fancy instruments. The "band" starting hitting small rural bars and switched to playing honky tonk and old hillbilly stompers because that's what the kids go crazy for. And that's what they do.
