Henderson & Jones Will Perform Tuesday Eve, Jan 9th, at Bistro 33, Davis, CA.

<br>Brad Henderson & Andy Jones will kickoff Bistro 33 restaurant & lounge's 2007 2nd & 4th Tuesday "Literature Night" series by headlining the show that they regularly emcee and enliven with signature wit and yin-yang style. This first 2nd Tuesday evening of 2007 (Jan 9th) at 8:30 PM, instead of listening once again to "Auld Lang Syne," come on downtown and listen to Mr. Brad & Dr. Andy rant and quip about modern poetry and read from their original works. <br>Aside from their nights and weekends job of bringing modern poetry to the mainstream people of Davis, Sacramento, and beyond, Henderson & Jones are full-time faculty for UC Davis' University Writing Program (UWP). Henderson & Jones recently co-wrote a book of poetry called Split Stock (John Natsoulas Press, 2006) and regularly team up to perform and host poetry readings, as well as to conduct private workshops on poetry writing.

<br>Henderson is the author of the Phi Kappa Phi Award Winning book, Drums: a Novel, and also the forthcoming solo book of poetry, Secret Cowboy at the Raw Bar <a href="2008">2008</a>. Jones is the host of the popular radio show "Dr. Andy's Poetry and Technology Hour," and is currently hard at work on his own follow-up to Split Stock, a full-length collection of original poems called Cages.

<br>In general, if you want to hear great poetry and prose performed by a variety of great local poets and authors, be sure to venture into Bistro 33 Restaurant & Lounge, on 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings, each and every month in 2007.
