I am really excited to welcome back Harvey Reid, http://www.woodpecker.com/. Harvey is one of my favorite performers. He has honed his craft over the last 30 years in countless clubs, festivals, streetcorners, cafes, schools and concert halls across the nation. He has been called a "giant of the steel strings" and "one of the true treasures of American acoustic music." He has absorbed a vast repertoire of American contemporary and roots music and woven it into his own colorful, personal and distinctive style. He is equally comfortable on the guitar, banjo and autoharp and brings his own style to songs whether they be traditional or his own compositions. I am really excited to welcome him back to Davis. Harvey will be here on Thursday, January 11th. Music will start at 8:00pm and I am asking for a $15.00 donation with all proceeds going to Harvey.
