<p>Featured speaker Father Vien The Nguyen has been organizing with Vietnamese and African American residents of New Orleans East since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region. He will talk about the community's campaign to stop a major Katrina waste dump adjacent to their neighborhood, ongoing efforts to rebuild, as well as the multi-racial coalition building efforts to build the environmental justice movement in New Orleans. </p>
