Study of Thinking and Emotion at Stanford University
The CAAN lab at Stanford University is conducting a study in the Psychology Department on thinking and emotion. We are looking for adults age 21-55 with no history of any clinical psychiatric/psychological disorders to participate for payment in our study.
An eligible participant will engage in 3 components: 1. diagnostic interview and questionnaires, 2. behavioral session consisting of computer tasks, speech, and short interview, and 3. brain imaging session using non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to visualize brain activity while doing a variety of engaging tasks. For MRI eligibility, you must not have any metal embedded in your body, not be taking any medications that affect blood flow or thinking/emotion, and not have claustrophobia. Participants must be US citizens or green card holders, and must be fluent in English.
