My past employer, the California Healthcare Institute (CHI) is looking for someone to help them with an urgent research project. CHI is an advocacy group that represents the interests of California?????????????????s biomedical community, which includes Stanford, and they need someone to identify the amount of money public life sciences companies in California are investing in research and development of new products. The project would involve going into the annual reports/SEC filings of a select list of firms that CHI has and pulling out the amount of R&D;spending they are reporting in their public filings. It can be done remotely and they are paying $25/hour, estimating the project will take about 24-30 hours. CHI is working to have the figure completed in the next two weeks.
