looking for a training partner (or more). experience preferred but not necessary--honestly i'd much rather have a newbie who's not a jackass than vice-versa.
-prefer someone who can train at least twice a week (up to 6 times is better!) for 1.5-2 hours CONSISTENTLY. no flakes, thanks.
-traditional or mixed are both okay.
-i don't do free sparring.
-not looking to hurt or kill anyone but i do train very seriously for combat, not tournaments.
-mostly empty-hand, but willing to do some kobudo or limited escrima/knife.
i specifically DON'T want:
-people who will let ego get in the way of training
-tournament "fighters"
-pansies
you don't need to be the best fighter on the planet or be in the best of shape. ultimately i'm looking for someone with a good attitude.
of course, email me if you're interested, or just have questions in general. i really do look forward to hearing from someone.
btw, if you read this post even up to a year later (today is 10/04/08) i would still be interested. i'm always looking to meet people with whom to train.
