I am looking for afternoon help on campus from about 3-7 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon. Some Saturday evenings would be helpful as well. I would pay $20 per hour. I need someone who can do whatever needs doing during these times: Picking kids up from school (I need someone who can drive, but having your own car is not essential), driving them to after school activities, shopping for our family, making dinner, straightening up in the kitchen, some wash. I have 3 children; my son Jason is 16 and will be able to drive himself next year, my daughter Emily is 13 and will need transportation, and my daughter Julia is 9 and will also need transportation and some supervision. I am a physician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. My husband was a physics professor and passed away 9 years ago. We have had au pairs since then, but next year we will not because my 13 year old really needs to have her own room. I would like someone who likes kids, likes cooking, and is self motivated.
