30-year-old Ph.D. candidate in the humanities here who goes out swing dancing at least once a week (I'm currently at an intermediate level). I would like to meet more people to dance and perhaps take group and/or private lessons with, and I'm open to the possibility of dating a fellow dance enthusiast as well. I have a wide variety of interests beyond swing dance and my particular field and dissertation topic (although I'll be happy to tell you about those in as much detail as you want), including learning foreign languages, reading novels, following politics and supporting liberal causes, reading about science (especially biology) on a popular level, and playing card games and board games.
