Childhood Obesity Prevention Study
Researchers at Stanford University are actively recruiting for a study that evaluates parent education classes that are targeted at preventing childhood obesity by motivating parents to create healthy household behavior changes. This is a paid study -- participants are monetarily compensated for their participation and time.
The study involves two parts.
Part 1: Initial Assessment (1 Hour)
Part 2: Parent Education Classes (5 classes total)
* Classes take place in the evenings.
Eligibility criteria:
1. Parent(s) must be overweight or obese.
2. Parent(s) must have a child between the ages of 2 and 4.
3. Parent(s) must be available for both parts of the study.
