I am a Masters student who just finished his last quarter at Stanford. Turns out a full-time job is no where near as fun as the work I did at Stanford, so I was wondering if anyone needed help on hardware/EE projects. I'd love to hear about them and give consultation, or even work with you on a hardware-based startup idea.

I have 8+ years of embedded programming experience, and have made things for large semiconductor companies such as Intersil and Linear Tech. I also know all the popular microcontroller architectures (PIC, Atmel, Freescale, Arduino - which is also Atmel) as well as LabVIEW integration with custom USB hardware.

An example of something I developed (as an intern):

An example of something I made for a class (pretty simple, could be expanded):

I just ordered a Kinect Module to do some gesture recognition / HCI work. I don't really have a project for that yet, but I'll be willing to work with anyone who has any better ideas of what to do with the hardware.

Pay is negotiable. I'm mostly looking for compensation in awesomeness. The more awesome the project turns out to be, the more of my own money I might end up putting into it (see? a negative salary!). Anyway, thanks for reading.
