Stanford Student Enterprises is hiring summer employees for its Advertising Division!
Account Executive (we are hiring 5 students)
- Gain real world sales and marketing experience by selling advertisements in the Stanford Directory, Unofficial Guide, On-campus Flyering Service, and Map
- Renew $45,000 worth of advertising contracts for approximately 60 current clients
- Meet and explain advertising options at Stanford to potential clients
- Enjoy the stability of a base wage rate with the unlimited upside potential of being paid additional commission on your sales and renewals!
Position Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Organization ability
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred
- Tough personality
- Access to a car during work hours to meet local business owners and managers
- Must be on campus between June 15th and September 2nd
- Must be available to work between the hours of 9 and 5 Monday through Friday
