Have you ever wanted to play some pickup basketball/soccer/football/tennis/dodgeball/ultimate/etc and found yourself unable to get the lazy @$$es around you to join??
Join the "Stanford Pickup Sports" facebook group...a group that is EXPLODING faster than Usain Bolt!!!!! Every new member must be invited by someone already in the group, but invite as many of your friends as you want.
Doesn't matter that you can't make a layup if your life depended on it; or that everyone crowds the infield when you step up to bat; or that your gym coach asked you if you'd volunteer to be all-time referee, or that your little league coach stuffed you out in right field; or that it looks like you're passing to the basketball hoop when you're trying to shoot; or that people cringe when they see you run; or that you're parents pulled you out of recreational sports because they were too embarrassed to watch you; or that you've scored more points for the other team in your life than for your own; or that you'd be billionaire if you received a penny for every time someone said "good try" to you; or that grandma runs faster than you and grandpa can do more pushups; or that even your best friend used to hesitate to choose you even though you were the last of two remaining picks on the playground.
All that matters is that you COME…TO…PLAY.
