Hi, I know this might sound weird and crazy but I discovered that a really good way to de-stress is to find a rolling partner. You just hold each other tight and roll together down an inclined surface. It's a great bonding experience. Rolling is far better than "planking," which is an individual activity and involves no motion. Clearly there are many different methods and strategies for assuming a reclined position, and I am arguing that rolling is superior to all other options.

With my previous rolling buddy I tried the following rolling surfaces: pavement, artificial turf, mulch, haystack. With my new partner, I would like to get more creative. I would first like to try the following locations: inclined rooftop, staircase (indoor or outdoor), sand dune, Capitol Hill, Hollywood Hills. I would then like to branch out by constructing our own rolling venues. Some materials I have in mind to build temporary hills include recycled cans, cottage cheese, and melted PVC piping.

Finally, I am becoming slightly bored with the idea of a gently inclined hill and I feel that there are additional geographical features we may be able to explore, including bowl-shaped valleys, plateaus, cliffs, and perhaps gorges if you're feeling as adventurous as I am.

Come roll with me. You won't regret it.
