Six week duration, temporary, at Career Development Center - Employment Services
• Screen all incoming telephone calls for the Employment Services area.
• Answer student and employer questions regarding Employment Services programs and services, including the on-line jobs database (how to access/post jobs), the on-campus recruiting program, and the resume service.
• Assist departments on campus with their job posting needs.
• Provide support to the Assistant Director of Employment Services, Recruiting Coordinator and Events Coordinator.
• Participate in center wide activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Excellent office and computer skills, excellent organizational skills, in that regard, the individual should demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness, and must be highly motivated, thorough, reliable and cooperative.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff, students and public; the ability to learn university systems; attention to details and accuracy, as well as a strong customer service orientation; demonstrated ability to apply good judgment in dealing with confidential information.
• Knowledge of Stanford’s data base is a plus.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
