I am a 26 yrs old female PhD student at Stanford. I am looking for housing beginning January first week (flexible). Both short term - for at least a month and long term are fine. My budget is $700-$1200 depending on what I get. I would like to have a private bathroom or a shared one with a female roommate. Furnished room/apartment is a plus. Something in Stanford/Palo Alto/Menlo Park/Mountain View is good.
I am neat, responsible, friendly, quiet, vegetarian at home, married, with no pets, and non-smoker/drinker. My husband lives on the east coast. He will visit me once in 1-2 months or during the spring break etc. I am looking for friendly and considerate roommates who do not have a dog/cat (sorry, I have never lived with a pet). I also need an on/off-street parking space. I like to cook and paint whenever I get time.
